Aunt Patty's Agave Syrup

This all natural sweetener otherwise known as agave nectar, tastes great right out of the bottle and can be used to sweeten drinks or in baking as a sugar substitute.

A natural fructose sweetener that is extracted from Mexico's Agave cactus plant. It is known that the indigenous people of Mexico traditionally gathered the sweet juice, known as aguamiel, from various varieties of Agave. They used it as a sweetener and to prepare special celebratory beverages. The agave nectar that we use is farmed in a sustainable manner where the agave plant is harvested but left in the ground to regenerate for next season.
