Nail Fungus

Is there an effective natural remedy for treating nail fungus?

I know how frustrating it must be to have a fungal infection in your nail bed; here is a popular herbal treatment to try.

Nail Fungus

Nails are the "windows to the body" just as the eyes are the "window to the soul". Often when a person gets either toenail or fingernail fungus they also have yeast fungus throughout their bloodstream. It is important to treat not only the nails externally but to look at the internal environment of the body. Cleansing the body of yeast fungus internally can help to prevent the fungus from returning or becoming a recurrent infection.

External treatment

Cut away as much of the nail where it lifts off from the nail bed. Then soak in just enough hot water to cover nails. Add about 15 drops of Thuja oil to the water and soak until the water is cool. Do this every day or every other day until improvement is seen. Also apply oil as often as possible directly onto the nail. It might help to use an eyedropper to apply oil.

Other oils that have antifungal properties are Tea Tree and Oregano. I believe that the native plants that grow around where we live are especially powerful healers. That is why I like suggest the Thuja oil for people that live in the Northwest because the red cedar trees (Thuja plicata) is where Thuja oil comes from.

Internal Treatment

Beat The Yeast Triple Kit

Flora Elite: A probiotic that discourages yeast fungus.* Take 3 one to two times daily preferably on an empty stomach.
