Good Manufacturing Practices and Procedures
THE HERBALIST™ HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE 1984 and is a highly respected manufacturer of multi-herbal products in this country and world-wide. Our business and manufacturing facility are located in Seattle, WA. We have developed an extensive line of therapeutic herbal products for internal and external use; Liquid Extracts, 150 Single-Herb Liquid Extracts, Alcohol-Free Herbal Glycerites, Herbal Tea Blends, Herbal Oils, and Therapeutic Massage Oils. Our lab uses only state of the art processing equipment to ensure the greatest quality herbal products that nature has to offer.
WE STRICTLY ADHERE TO GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES and are an active member of the American Herbal Products Association. In the processing of our herbal products, we choose only herbs of the highest quality and purity. In keeping with this standard, our herbs are selectively and ethically wildcrafted from their native habitats or certified organically grown. Collected by experts in the field of botany and herbal identification, many of our herbs are grown or wildcrafted locally in the Northwest. Many come from the pristine San Juan Islands. We are dedicated to preserving the continuation of the medicinal plant species used in our products. Our herbs are never irradiated.
EACH HERB HAS ITS OWN UNIQUE PROPERTIES, and some herbs are better processed fresh, and others are better freshly dried. The fresh herbs arrive via overnight air or hand delivery, and are immediately processed to ensure optimal potency. The freshly dried herbs are carefully dried in their whole form. Using the science of organolepsis, we carefully inspect the color, taste, texture, and aroma of each batch of herbs, to ensure its quality.

Extract Advantage
The advantage of taking an extract over a tablet or capsule is simple:
the active ingredients are immediately absorbed into the bloodstream and readily assimilated by the body, promptly producing the desired results. An extract is more concentrated, making it a more potent and effective method of treatment. When manufactured and stored properly, they have a shelf life of at least 3 years. Our extracts are combined in The Herbalist's innovative herbal formulae, using the latest medical and pharmaceutical research findings. The synergistic effect of these herbal combinations allows the inclusion of herbs that help the body to heal at various stages of need.
